Mining and metals company Evraz, whose shares are traded on the London Stock Exchange, may conduct a secondary listing on the Moscow Exchange in 2022. Nikolai Ivanov, Evraz Vice President for Finance, announced this during a press conference.
“As for listing on the Moscow Stock Exchange, as I said at the investor day in November, we still have such plans, we will work on it,” Ivanov said. – We were waiting for the moment when there would be more confidence with the spin-off of our coal business. Now that there is a fairly high level of confidence, we will probably proceed with the secondary listing. We don’t have exact plans, maybe it will happen this year.”
Evraz received a premium listing on the London Stock Exchange in 2011.
Evraz is a vertically integrated steel and mining company with assets in Russia, the US, Canada, the Czech Republic and Kazakhstan and is one of the largest steel producers in the world.
